I figured it wasn't fair to keep calling this a weekly weigh in because I never remember to post it every week! It's been 3 weeks since my last weigh in and I am pretty pleased with where I am at. Since my last post 4 weeks ago, I am down 1 inch in my waist and 2 inches in my legs! I have also gone from 162.2 pounds to 155.4 :) I am doing really well with controlling my portions and making way healthier choices than I was before. I have also been doing the 40 days of water challenge so that helps a lot. Turns out I was drinking a lot of my calories which is not good for me. The most surprising part is how much I don't mind having water as my only beverage. I actually cheated last weekend and got a latte from Starbucks and didn't even want to finish it!
I definitely need to work on making it to the gym more often though. I have so many excuses and they all sound good to me but I just have to stop with them! I know that it is so important to make it a priority and I always feel so much better so I don't know why I have such a hard time. One thing that I know will help is to plan ahead. Whenever I leave it to the last minute, it is too easy to get distracted. If I just scheduled it ahead of time and actually had my gym bag packed I know it would be that much harder not to go. I also think I need a little bit of incentive for myself. You would think getting in shape would be enough but no! So I am going to put a dollar in a jar every day I make it to the gym and then when I have a little bit of money in there I can go buy a cute little workout outfit :)

Love that you are doing the jar incentive. I saw this awhile back and wanted to start it but never did. It is such a great way to keep yourself motivated. Good job on the water!! I am doing the same thing
